Overview of Company Business and Development

Under the CHINT Group, Astronergy is an intelligent manufacturing enterprise focusing on photovoltaic modules. Founded in 2006, Astronergy is one of the earliest private enterprises to set foot in the PV field, its business footprints are all over 140 countries and regions in the world.

Astronergy is committed to being the most competitive photovoltaic modules supplier worldwide with its mission of creating a sustainable and net-zero carbon world with solar power. Focusing on R&D, production and sales of high-efficiency crystalline silicon PV cells and PV modules, Astronergy has continuously launched ASTRO series high-efficiency modules. Big-size wafer tech enables both all bifacial and monofacial ASTRO series modules could be perfectly applied in all scenarios such as utility-scale power stations, commercial & industrial (C&I) PV systems and residential PV systems.

Milestones
2022

  • Astronergy becomes solely responsible for and independently operates the manufacturing and sales business of PV cells and modules of CHINT Group

  • By launching ASTRO N series modules with a power of over 700W, Astronergy enters into TOPCon module market

  • For the sixth time, Astronergy's PV modules won the title of “TOP Performer” by PV Evolution Labs (PVEL), the world’s authoritative third-party testing laboratory

2021

  • Astronergy's cell and module workshop in Yancheng was put into operation

  • ASTRO 6 mono-crystalline high-efficiency and high-density modules, ASTRO 5s high-efficiency residential modules and TELOGY roofing system for C&I BIPV are launched

  • Astronergy won multiple prizes at 2021 TÜV Rheinland "All Quality Matters" Award

2020

  • Astronergy was selected into the "List of Intelligent PV Pilot Demonstration Companies" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology

  • ASTRO 5 series modules were launched

  • The mass production efficiency of high-efficiency bifacial PERC cell reached another record high (23.4%)

2019

  • Astronergy won the PV Module Energy Yield Simulation Award at 2019 TÜV Rheinland "All Quality Matters" Award Ceremony

  • Astronergy won the Certificate of "Zhejiang Made"

  • 1.5GW high-efficiency crystalline silicon cells and 1.5GW high-efficiency PV modules were put into production at Astronergy’s Haining Manufacturing Base

  • ASTRO 4 series modules were launched

  • Astronergy PV module series  renamed and upgraded, and ASTRO series was officially launched

2016

  • Astronergy's intelligent solar plant in Hangzhou, transparent solar plant in Haining and solar plant in Thailand were put into operation

  • Astronergy participated in the drafting of the standard for “Zhejiang Made” PV modules

  • Astronergy's project won the title of “Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Cooperation Pilot Demonstration Project” by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology

  • Astronergy was rated as the demonstration application company for “Replacing Humans with Machines” by Hangzhou Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization

2015

  • The annual sales volume of Astronergy PV modules exceeded 1000MW

  • Chint New Energy Technology (Haining) Co., Ltd. was established

  • Hangzhou East Railway Station Rooftop Solar Power Station was connected to gird and put into operation

  • Astronergy's PV modules won the title of "Famous Brand in Hangzhou"

  • Astronergy's 100MW PV module production line was officially completed in Jiuquan, Gansu Province

  • The capacity of Astronergy crystalline silicon modules exceeded 100MW
